FEED MY MECH is a horror game that puts the player in a mech cockpit and tasks them with operating the machine while being hunted by giant monsters. It contains a fully 3D world to explore from inside the detailed chassis. The world containing multiple areas that the player has to progress through, each rising in difficulty and introducing new mechanics and enemies. This project was made in around 9-10 months and was my first ever full commercial release.
What I did for this project:
Full mechanic and level designing.
Programming in Unity with C#.
3D assets and models, including texturing.
Full level design with cutscenes made with my own cinematic node editor tool, Reel. Used for enhancing the immersion and dynamic tutorials.
Modular behavioural AI using finite state machines to simulate the behaviour of each enemy, with each of them having different behaviours and reactions to the players actions.
Release Date: January 14th, 2024
ScaleFlip is a very small and basic 4-player party game that crosses board games with the platform fighting game genre. I made this as a small project as a proof of concept as well as something to put on my portfolio! I made it in about 3 months total dev time so please do not expect a very in depth experience with polish and nice graphics and assets. This was simply made for fun and to show off some of my ideas!
What I did for this project:
Gameplay design and balancing.
Programming in Unity with C#.
3D assets and models, including texturing.
Implementation of the FMOD audio engine.
Local multiplayer support for four players.
Smaller projects/ideas that were never fully realized but still implemented a system or framework in a way that I am proud of.
A work-in-progress editor for Turn-Based RPG "Actions." This editor is a robust system that allows for modular editing of in combat actions without needing any code. It is custom built for my personal RPG project currently but I wish to eventually make it so anyone can use it.
A simple thumbnail editor application I created to help quickly create thumbnails for Super Smash Brothers. Ultimate tournaments ran at the University of Guelph for the Gryphon Gaming YouTube channel.
